Fees differ depending on whether you require a medical or surgical termination, and if you have a valid Medicare card.

Medical Termination

Up to 9 weeks (63 day pregnancy)

*Fee Includes dispensed MS 2step medication, medication for nausea and pain +/- ultrasound.

Surgical Termination

The current gestation limit for surgery to be performed by the Choices South West surgeon at Busselton District Hospital is 12 weeks and 6 days.

Surgical terminations are performed in the public hospital system which is favourable to Medicare card holders, as your anaesthetic and Day Stay fees will be fully covered by Medicare.

Pricing will be determined at the time of consultation and depends on the gestation of pregnancy, but the table below is a guide. Full payment is required before your surgery date or you may be rescheduled. Speak to us about repayment plans.

Cost without Medicare

Depending on reciprocal agreement with country of origin, overseas students and visitors with private insurance may be able to claim costs for a termination. Please speak to your travel insurance.
