At Choices South West we offer support and management for unplanned pregnancy, plus a variety of services to women and their partners so that they can make informed, ongoing choices about their sexual health and family planning including:
Medical Termination.
Medical abortion is best performed for early pregnancies under 9 weeks gestation. It involves taking medication in a two-step process.
Surgical Termination.
Surgical abortion is a brief and safe procedure. It is done under general anaesthesia at Busselton Hospital.
Contraception.
Chat to us about the many contraceptive options available and which might best suit your circumstances.
Counselling.
We provide pro-choice and non-judgemental counselling and will help you explore all options; whether to terminate or continue with the pregnancy and or adopt.
Aftercare.
We offer timely aftercare 24/7 up to 14 days following your procedure, to check how you’re feeling and ensure you’re recovering without any complications, and to confirm the success of the termination.
Blood Group.
It is very important we know your blood group. Please see your GP to organise this and the pregnancy hormone level if you are unsure of your last menstrual period.
